A little while back a sulphur-crested cockatoo was a viral sensation when a video of him dancing to the Backstreet Boys began to circulate on the Internet (his YouTube vid has almost 2 million views!).
Well, someone pointed out a new video of a bare-eyed cockatoo shaking his tail feathers, and let me tell you Snowball the Dancing Cockatoo has got nothing on Frostie.
Check out Frostie’s moves:

You’re absolutely right! In fact, I just received an e-mail from a producer of Good Morning America asking permission to air Frostie’s “Shake Your Tail Feather” video!
I don’t know whether or not Frostie’s video will actually air. However, don’t be surprised if you see him on T.V. in the very near future!

I’m glad you enjoyed his video!

I looked at your site today and wondered if you have interest in having a discussion on how we could work together on a partnership program. Our company helps inventors license or wholesale products/inventions and your site more than likely has followers with innovative pet ideas or products. Also, we have relationships with more than 3,500 companies who are looking for new inventions & a partnership could benefit your readers in need of help.
Basically, we’d like to become your preferred partner in the product innovation area and also provide you with an ongoing referral revenue stream tied to every product that comes to us from you. Also, we’d like to provide you with interesting content for your site in the form of an “Invention of the Week”. We can send you an interesting new pet invention weekly/biweekly that would help introduce us to your readers & develop our relationship.
Please let me know if you’re interested in a follow-up call.
Cheers!
Dave
wow!!!! that’s an amazing bird!! i’m very impressed!!
Fantastic ! For me, this is a first . I mentioned a parrot just in passing in one of my posts (recently started )and Google brought me here. Thanks.
Go Frostie….Obviously he is loved and well cared for..
Good morning America GMA did air this video on February 24, 2009! I’ve received an e-mail from a producer of the Stupid Pet Tricks segment of the David Letterman show inquiring if I’d like to bring Frostie on TV. (I’m not sure if I want to let David Letterman humiliate me on national TV. I’m waiting for better offers!)
Check out my YouTube Channel for more Frostie videos!
Thank you,
Karla and Frostie
Congrats Karla and Frostie!
Wow, Frostie is really good. He’s special with his own unique dance move, totally different any other dancing Toos i’ve seen.
11 years ago I bought a neglected/abused bare-eyed too.
For the 1st 3 years she bit everyone. I used the ‘time-out” process & saying “Gentle” in a gentle voice. This was toughest when someone was bleeding. 3 years later Gigi is the most loving, gentle being I’ve ever known. Knowing she will out-live me, it was important to socialize her. She is loving & playful to everyone-all ages, both genders. Twice she responded negatively, later we found out these people were not to be trusted. Caring for a ‘too is a lot of work-everyday, cleaning cages, trays & training the bird to drink from an up right bottle, being sure droppings are never in food. They are highly intelligent & emotionally devoted. Certainly worth every effort.
Having a parrot is more like caring for a child than a “pet”.
Karla, thank you for sharing Frostie, he is a joy to watch! His freedom of self expression is a delight!
The video wanders in and out of sync with the sound on my connection, which totally kills the wonder of it (par for the course actually for youtube, though not so consequential usually). Maybe if you put a swinging metronome or a “visualization” of the music on a monitor behind the impresario?
